The Great Penryn Christmas Bake Off

The first, ‘Great Penryn Christmas Bake Off’, was hosted at Number 20 by Ed Hartgill on Saturday. Eighteen entrants took part across four classes culminating in, Bonnie Baldwin, being awarded the bakers hat and the new title of, ‘Penryn’s Master Baker’, with her stunning, Christmas igloo cake.

The event organised and judged by Dave Mason of, ‘Daves all Occasion Cakes’, with the support of Mayor Cllr Gill Grant, proved to be another great example of the town’s community working together. The awards were created by local businesses, Fannie & Fox, Tim Lake Ceramics, Pappilon Rouge, Xtrospective and Countrywide Creatives.

We popped along and were really impressed with all the fantastic creations entered into each category.

We think you will agree there were some great entries and we can’t wait until next year!
