Visit Penryn and Clear Mapping Company are coming together to locally produce a new Penryn Town Guide and Town Map in time for spring 2015. Previously the town guide has been produced outside of Cornwall, so we are really pleased to announce that the new one will be produced here in Penryn.
25,000 guides and 20,000 maps will be professionally distributed across Cornwall and beyond including shops, hotels, restaurants and tourist information centers. The collaboration means that not only do we have the professional design and cartography skills of Caroline at Clear Mapping Co but the professional marketing direction, experience in tourism and local knowledge of Visit Penryn.
Some 200,000 visitors by-pass Penryn each year to arrive at nearby towns and villages, the town guide and map aims to target these visitors by signposting them to all the great businesses, places of interest and events in Penryn.
The guide will include the variety of local businesses across the town while the map will promote and celebrate some of the many community groups, projects and people that help to make the town such a wonderful place to visit.
As Penryn Traders we know not all businesses will want the same package, but we do know all will benefit from the same level of professional marketing and promotion the Town Guide will provide. With this in mind we have carefully created a package that is accessible to all the great businesses and freelancers in the town.
